which model to buy
Whether for work meetings, online classes or virtual gatherings with friends and family, video conferencing has become an essential tool in our daily lives, especially since the pandemic.
And one of the most popular platforms for holding these videoconferences is Zoom.
Learn about the main features of Zoom Video Conferencing, what differentiates it from Google Meet and some of the features of each option for holding work meetings.

Features and functionalities
Both platforms offer essential features for videoconferencing, such as video calls, screen sharing, meeting recording, and chats.
Zoom offers a wide range of additional features, such as virtual meeting rooms, advanced security options, virtual backgrounds, and integrations with other productivity tools.
On the other hand, Google Meet is simpler in terms of features, but integrates perfectly with other Google applications such as Google Calendar and Google Drive.
User Interface
Zoom's user interface is known for its simplicity and ease of use, with intuitive controls and clear navigation.
In contrast, Google Meet has a more minimalist interface, with an emphasis on simplicity and integration with other Google applications.
Price and availability
Both platforms offer free and paid plans, but Zoom has an advantage in terms of availability, as it is available in more countries and regions compared to Google Meet.
In addition, Zoom offers a variety of pricing plans for companies of all sizes, with scaling and customization options.
Security and privacy
Zoom has faced some security and privacy controversies in the past, but has since implemented several measures to improve the security of its video conferences.
